Help Fill 15 Thanksgiving Food Boxes for Parish Families in Need

While our traditional parish Thanksgiving box collection is not happening this year, we are still planning to put together 15 food boxes for individual parish families in need. Please visit This Sign-Up Genius Link to sign-up for a specific item or items to bring.

Items need to be returned by Sunday, November 22 and should be put into the Food Pantry in the Narthex in a bag labeled “Thanksgiving”.

Direct Giving to Three Families

St. Teresa’s Outreach (STO) is looking for Youth Faith Formation families to help provide gifts for children in three families who are in need.

Gifts need to be returned by Monday, December 14.  Further details will be available in next week’s Flocknote!

Gifts of Warmth

All families are invited to bring new or gently used coats, hats, gloves, sweaters, and sweatshirts for adults and children to be given to St. Stephen’s Community House, Help My Neighbor Food Pantry, and local needs.

Please bring these items between now and Monday, December 14 and put it into a bag labeled “Warmth” in the Food Pantry in the Narthex.

Sandwiches

Make one bag of bologna sandwiches per family member for the homeless in downtown Columbus. These sandwiches will be handed out at St. Joseph Cathedral and St. Lawrence Haven.

Drop sandwiches off around Masses on Saturday, December 12, Sunday, December 13, and at the STO Food and Supply Drop-off at 10 am on Monday, December 14.

Help Fill 15 Christmas Food Boxes for Parish Families in Need

As with our Thanksgiving boxes, we will also provide 15 food boxes for parish families in need. We will post a signup genius once the Thanksgiving sign up is full.

Items will be collected between Monday, November 23 and Monday, December 14.

Make Christmas Ornaments for Parish Senior Citizens and Homebound

Make a hand-made Christmas ornament with a note of encouragement for parish senior-citizens and those who are homebound. PLEASE DO NOT WRITE YOUR NAME ON THE ORNAMENT.

Ornaments should be placed on the Giving Tree in the Narthex by Monday, December 7.

Please also consider participating in parishwide activities such as the weekly food collections in the Narthex, the Giving Tree Gift Card Drive, and the Thanksgiving Food Drive donations as posted in the bulletin and in the parish-wide Flocknote.
