Women’s Auxiliary

We warmly welcome ALL women who desire to serve our church community and beyond, while growing in faith and building friendship with other women.

We helped serve during the Knights of Columbus Pancake Breakfast.

We sell mums in fall for an annual fundraiser so that we can provide assistance to parish ministries.

We collected, sorted, and prepared Buddy Bags for local children in need.

We collaborated with other ministries to collect, sort, and deliver donations for 1,000 meals for the Family Mentor Program.

Mission Statement

St. Joan of Arc Women’s Auxiliary mission is to serve well the Catholic Church, their communities, families and young people in association with the Knights of Columbus Council 10765 through fellowship, prayer and service.

Who We Are…

CHARITABLE Providing our services and offering financial contributions on behalf of the Auxiliary to worthy charities and those in need within our parish community. Charitable organizations are recommended by Auxiliary members to be recipients of our charitable causes.

SPIRITUAL Creating opportunities for spiritual growth. A trip to the Josephinum or National Shrine of Our Lady of Consolation and other prayerful retreats, provide spiritual enhancement for the heart, mind and soul.

SOCIAL Organizing fun and interesting outings that help build camaraderie and grow lasting friendships.

The St. Joan of Arc Women’s Auxiliary was chartered in 2011 by several wives of the parish Knights of Columbus Council 10765. They recognized an opportunity within the parish community for all women of the Parish to come together in fellowship and service.

Women’s Auxiliary supports our church by providing volunteers and donations for many ministries, including the following:

  • Donating blankets for 8th grade PSR students
  • Parish Festival
  • Knights of Columbus Fish Fry
  • Columbus Catholic Women’s Conference
  • Kids Night Out

Women’s Auxiliary supports our extended community by volunteering in many ways, including the following:

  • Visiting nursing homes
  • Collecting, donating, and delivering items for women’s shelters
  • Supporting People in Need

The Auxiliary is open to women 18 years or older. Monthly meetings include current business updates, activity planning and socializing. Meetings are held in classrooms at St. Joan of Arc Church on the first Tuesday of every month at 7 p.m. Check our bulletin for room numbers.
