Administrative Assistant Position Available

We are seeking an Administrative Assistant for our Adult Faith Formation and Missionary Discipleship offices. The person in this position will be responsible for coordinating all PGC certified childcare for the ministries and assisting with babysitting when necessary; purchasing food and supplies for these ministries and bereavement meals (reimbursable, or using a corporate card), and stocking general kitchen supplies for the parish; assisting with hospitality/set up/ clean up of these ministries; and coordinating the production of supplemental materials such as binders, name tags, handouts, etc.

The successful candidate will be in compliance with BCI background checks and will be willing to complete the Protecting God’s Children program (if not already PGC certified); and will have a high school diploma or equivalent and two year’s previous office experience, with a good working knowledge of basic computer programs. This is a part-time position, 10-20 hour per week, with 15 hours per week averaged over the year, and may include Tuesday evenings and up to six Saturday evenings of the year for Date Night Marriage Ministry.

Job offer is contingent on the successful passing of the mandatory background screening and completion of the VIRTUS “Protecting God’s Children” course.

Custodian/Housekeeper Position Available

We are seeking a Custodian/Housekeeper for our church and rectory. The person in this position will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment for all staff and visitors on the parish campus and rectory to include cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, cleaning, mopping and vacuuming floors, emptying trash and recycling, cleaning windows and all glass, and other general cleaning and dusting. As part of the maintenance team, the person in this position will also ensure room set ups and take downs are completed and maintain outside walk areas including sweeping debris, washing walkways, and prepping icy areas.

The successful candidate will be in compliance with BCI background checks and will be willing to complete the Protecting God’s Children program (if not already PGC certified); and will have a high school diploma or equivalent and two year’s previous experience, with a good working knowledge of basic computer programs. This is a full-time position working 30 – 40 hours per week.
