Youth Ministry at St. Joan is fun, relational, exciting and prayerful.
We hope the teens of the parish will join us for Middle School and High School Youth Group Nights.

Peer Leadership Application

For 8th-12th grade students

Peer Leadership aims to serve youth ministry through forming young people in discipleship and servant leadership. Teens will receive formation and will assist in planning youth events at St. Joan of Arc. Please return application to Michelle Neitzke.


For 6th-12th grade students

7-8:30 p.m. in Lavelle Social Hall

Join us for our Sandwiches for the Homeless Service Project. Come and help make sandwiches for those in need. No sign up necessary. Contact Michelle Neitzke if you would like to help donate supplies at mneitzke@stjoanofarcpowell.org.

High School Diocese Youth Conference

The Diocesan Catholic Youth Conference (DCYC) is the official Catholic conference of the Diocese of Columbus for grades 9th-12th. The gathering includes keynote speakers (Bob Rice) and workshops geared toward high schoolers, as well as praise and worship by Station 14, skits, service, prayer, small group time, lunch, dinner, and Sunday Mass.

Current 8th-12th grade students are invited to join St. Joan of Arc Youth Ministry this summer for the Steubenville Youth Conference, July 20-22, 2018, located in Steubenville, OH, at Franciscan University.

What is Steubenville? Steubenville is a weekend Catholic youth conference for those who are currently in 8th grade through current 12th grade. It is a dynamic and high-energy weekend, full of fun, prayer, fellowship, and more.

February 23 Offsite during Lent

Meet our Middle School Youth Group for a night of fun and fellowship
Magic Mountain Fun Center at Polaris
6:30-9 p.m. (Note this is a half hour longer than usual.)

$20 includes unlimited laser tag and mini golf (weather permitting), 20 arcade tokens, and 2 slices of pizza.


7-8:30 p.m.

Each night includes a talk on the theme, prayer, testimony, high energy games, fun and food!


We hope all Middle and High School teens will join us for a great year of youth group!
No cost to attend. Signed permission required yearly: St Joan Teen Youth Ministry Permission Form.
