We know that
God responds to faith-filled prayer. So let us cry out with confidence to God
with the needs of our world.
That Pope Benedict
XVI,
Bishop Campbell, and all ordained to the priesthood will continue to serve and
lead the Church with humility, passion and love,
we pray to the Lord…
That
one day all people
of the world will love one another and that no person will be seen as outcast,
we pray to the Lord…
That
those who work
in healthcare may continue to be blessed in their work to benefit those who are
ill,
we pray to the Lord…
That those
seeking to enter
the Church will grow in faith and so come to see the power of God’s grace in
their lives,
we pray to the Lord…
For
all the sick
and suffering, especially Tom Sparks, those on our monthly prayer list, and
those who feel ‘OUTCAST’, that they will experience healing and comfort,
we pray to the Lord…
For all those who have left
this world, especially Mary Ann Martin, Susan Reese, and Christopher Leonard,
husband of Lauren Rowland, that they are home in the heavenly kingdom,
we pray to the Lord…
God
of compassion, hear the prayers we offer this day. Give sight to your faithful
people, and enable us to follow your son, Jesus Christ, who is Lord forever and
ever.
