The St. Joan of Arc
Men’s Club is the principle social organization for adult men of our parish.
Men’s Club – 2008
The St. Joan of Arc Men’s Club is the
principal social organization for adult men of our parish. The purpose of the
Club is to promote fellowship, friendship and spiritual values among our
members, the parish and the community at large. Through service in the parish,
we are dedicated to providing ongoing support to our parish and to addressing
special needs of the church community.
We accomplish our mission in part by:
§
Organizing family events including
the Family Christmas Festival.
§
Coordinating fun activities for
all ages at the parish picnic.
§
Supporting holiday drives that
deliver food collected by the Parish to the Family Shelter.
§
Performing quarterly work parties
at the Church and providing manpower for other organizations and
individuals at the Church.
§
Hosting friendly golf tournaments,
card nights, bowling events and other social activities throughout the year.
§
Enjoying outings to professional
sporting events.
The Club raises funds through our annual Super Bowl sub sale and by working
beverage stands at two home games during the OSU football season.
The Men’s Club established and manages the Luther Orick Scholarship Trust Fund,
which provides full tuition support for three years to a deserving student
enrolled in a Catholic high school.
